GLASSBORO, NJ---On July 15, 2009, Jacqueline Davis will present her unique mosaic talents at the Rowan High Street Gallery located at 11 East High Street in Downtown Glassboro. Starting at 4 pm, Davis will open the doors to the gallery for a special reception opened to the public. Her show will run from July 12 – August 1.
Davis’ work includes a variety of items from simple tea light candleholders and picture frames to whimsical wall plaques, custom designed trays, olive oil bottles, vases and tabletops. She also has refinished children's furniture that incorporates her mosaics talents.
In addition, she will display some steel drum sculptures that were created by artisans in Haiti as she promotes her affiliation with Partners in Fair Trade.
The Rowan High Street Gallery, a partnership between the University, the property owner and the Glassboro Economic Development office, is open Thursday through Saturday from noon to 4:30pm.
